Richard A. Dammkoehler, professor emeritus of computer science in the School of Engineering & Applied Science at Washington University in St. Louis, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2014. He held appointments at the university for more than 40 years.

Jill Lustberg, associate director of development for Olin Business School in Alumni & Development Programs at Washington University in St. Louis, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at her home after battling cancer for more than five years. She was 43.

Herman Eisen, MD, head of the Department of Molecular Microbiology at Washington University School of Medicine from 1961-73, died Nov. 2, 2014. He was 96.

Harold Blumenfeld, professor emeritus of music in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis — and the first composer to devote extensive attention to the poetry of Arthur Rimbaud — died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He was 91.

Felicia Ausbury, senior associate director in Alumni Relations at Washington University in St. Louis, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at her home in St. Charles, Mo., after battling cancer for more than a year. She was 42.

Jean Sutherland Boggs, the first woman appointed to full professorship in the Department of Art History and Archaeology in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2014. She was 92.

D. Tab Rasmussen, PhD, professor of anthropology in Arts & Sciences, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, after an accident at his home in Edwardsville, Ill. He was 56. Rasmussen was a highly recognized physical anthropologist specializing in paleontology and behavioral ecology, especially among primates.

Lynn Hovland, former Washington University in St. Louis football coach, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2014. He was 98.

William E. Cornelius, emeritus trustee and alumnus of Washington University in St. Louis, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at his home in Huntleigh, Mo. He was 82.

William Thomas Thach Jr., MD, professor emeritus of neurobiology, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, in Town and Country. He was 77. A neuroscience researcher and clinical neurologist, Thach was a renowned expert and pioneering researcher on the cerebellum.
