William B. Tolman has been appointed vice dean of research and entrepreneurship in Arts & Sciences, Dean Feng Sheng Hu announced. Tolman is the William Greenleaf Eliot Professor of Chemistry. 

Michael Sherraden, the George Warren Brown Distinguished University Professor at the Brown School, has received the 2021 James Billups International Social Development Leadership Award from the International Consortium for Social Development.

Daniel Mamah, MD, associate professor of psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine, has received the 2021 Dr. John M. Anderson Excellence in Mental Health Award from the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund, in partnership with The St. Louis American Foundation.
