Garage slated for Medical Campus, employee parking shifting east
Employee parking will begin shifting to the east at the Washington University Medical Center as construction continues for the Campus Renewal Project, the School of Medicine’s new research and environmental health/central services buildings and the CORTEX District.
Facilities services consolidated in Olin Hall
Several offices in facilities management at the School of Medicine are consolidating services and business operations beginning May 5. They will be located on the first floor of Olin Residence Hall. Custodial services, facilities engineering and parking and transportation will merge in the newly named Facilities Integrated Service Center (FISC).
PB&Joy drive collects record amount of food
PB&Joy, WUSTL’s annual food drive, collected a record 16,908 pounds of nutritious, kid-friendly food for Operation Food Search this month. That’s more than double the amount collected last year.
Community Service Office to host program about K-12 Connections
The Community Service Office will hold a brown-bag session at noon Monday, April 28, in Danforth University Center, Room 233, to discuss ways to expand the K-12 Connections program.
King named associate dean of students, director of student conduct
Tamara King, JD, has been named associate dean of students and director of student conduct at Washington University in St. Louis. King advises students, faculty and staff on issues ranging from student behavior to academic integrity.
Construction of new medical records office begins in CAM lobby April 21
Construction of a new medical records customer-service office will begin the evening of Monday, April 21, in the Center for Advanced Medicine (CAM) lobby. The office — part of Barnes-Jewish Hospital — is relocating to CAM from the first floor of Shoenberg Pavilion as part of the Campus Renewal Project.

April is Car-free Month
Employees and students are encouraged to try different forms of alternative transportation to campus during Car-free Month. Events include free bike tune-ups, a self-guided Metro scavenger hunt to the South Grand neighborhood and the inaugural Bikes in Bowles Block Party
Boyle ramp to close through mid-May
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will close the ramp from westbound Interstate 64/Highway 40 to Boyle Avenue in St. Louis at 9 a.m. Monday, April 7. The ramp is expected to reopen by mid-May.
