The Office of Military and Veteran Services is inviting faculty and staff to participate in its Veteran Ally Program. Sessions are scheduled Oct. 7 and Oct. 14.

The Office of the Provost, in partnership with the Skandalaris Center, is now accepting doctoral student applications for the 2022 Pivot 314 fellowship program. The deadline is Nov. 1.

College Prep Program is accepting nominations for the next cohort of its innovative college readiness initiative. The nomination deadline is Oct. 15.

The Office of Human Resources will present the Take Care Series, a virtual monthlong wellness experience that will provide short webinar presentations and Q&A sessions. The series kicks off Oct. 4 and runs through Oct. 28.

The Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity & Equity is accepting applications for funding opportunities. Faculty affiliates are invited to design a new graduate-level seminar for the 2022-23 academic year. The deadline is Oct. 15.

As many School of Medicine employees are now required to wear red, black and gray scrubs, the Operations & Facilities Management Department, in partnership with the Office of Sustainability and MedNik Riverbend Textiles, is hosting a scrubs collection until Oct. 10. 

The Whittemore House at Washington University is reopening for indoor dining during lunch starting Monday, Sept. 13.

The Office of the Provost has launched “Return and Reset,” a collection of programs and resources designed to help faculty navigate the new academic year.  Programming kicks off Sept. 15.

Washington University will test its emergency communication system at 9:55 a.m. Sept. 15. The tests ensure that the university can effectively communicate with the community in an emergency. The test will take place unless there is the potential for severe weather or an emergency is occurring at that time.

The School of Medicine is accepting applications for the American Cancer Society Institutional Research Grant to support junior faculty conducting cancer research pilot projects.
