The university is reminding employees about WUCare, a dedicated primary care physician practice offered exclusively to WashU employees enrolled in the university-sponsored health plan.

Washington University will test its emergency communication system at 10 a.m. Friday, April 1. During the test, WashUAlerts will send emails, voice calls and text messages.

Washington University’s Equity and Inclusion Council (WUEIC), established in 2020, is seeking members at large for the upcoming academic year. Nominations are being accepted until April 17; applications are due May 1.

The Office of Sustainability will be hosting electronic waste recycling drives and confidential paper shredding services at the Danforth and Medical campuses March 22 and 29.

The Danforth Staff Council seeks new members. The council advocates for Danforth Campus staff members with university administrators. Nominations are open Monday, March 14, through April 1.

The Center for Diversity and (CDI) Inclusion invites students to apply to be a CDI fellow. The program provides an opportunity for students to launch innovative new ideas to advance diversity, equity and inclusion on the Danforth Campus. The deadline is April 8.

The Skandalaris Center seeks nominations of deserving students, staff, faculty and community members for its 2022 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awards. The deadline is March 18.

Washington University staff members are encouraged to nominate colleagues for the 2022 Distinguished Service Honors awards on the Danforth and Medical campuses. The nomination deadline is March 25.

Undergraduate and graduate students who love collecting books can submit entries for this year’s Neureuther Student Book Collection Essay Competition. The deadline is March 11, and winners can receive up to $1,000.

The Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity & Equity (CRE2) is accepting applications for two funding opportunities. Applications must be submitted by April 1.
