Annual Career Fair to feature more than 85 employers

More than 85 local and national organizations will be on the Danforth Campus Wednesday, Sept. 15, for the Fall 2010 Internship & Job Career Fair. The fair will provide WUSTL students a unique opportunity to meet and interview with dozens of potential employers in a short amount of time.

Constitution Day lunch forum Sept. 17

The Gephardt Institute for Public Service and the American Constitution Society at the School of Law will commemorate Constitution Day with a panel discussion on “The First Amendment in the 21st Century” from 12-1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, in the Women’s Building Formal Lounge. Registration is required by Wednesday, Sept. 15, to Robin Hattori, assistant director at the Gephardt Institute, at rhattori@wustl.edu. Lunch will be provided to the first 35 registered attendees.

When service comes first

More than 1,200 WUSTL students volunteered their time during the annual Service First event, helping to paint, landscape and clean 12 St. Louis-area schools to make their surroundings more enjoyable for students and their teachers.

Students celebrate First Friday, the annual campus celebration marking the end of the first week of classes, by sliding down a giant inflatable slide in the Village Sept. 3. Other First Friday events around campus included free donuts and ice cream, an appearance by comedian Seth Meyers of Saturday Night Live, a dance party, games and more.
