Women undergraduate and graduate students can discuss post-graduation choices and how to attain a successful, fulfilling life at “Composing a Life” Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m. at the Laboratory Sciences Building, Room 300. The discussion, hosted by the Women’s Society of Washington University, will feature five women with career experience in an array of fields, from engineering to business to nonprofit.

The WUSTL Police Department is teaming up with the Kurt Warner First Things First Foundation and Operation Food Search for the 10th annual Warners’ Warm-up winter-coat drive. Through Nov. 14, the WUSTL police station will serve as a drop-off location for students, faculty, staff and others to donate new or gently used winter coats.

The annual health open enrollment period for the health/dental or dental-only plans, the health- and child-care flex spending plans, the Health Savings Account and the Retirement Medical Savings Account will be from Nov. 1-30. Enrollments and changes to these plans made during the open enrollment period and before the Nov. 30 deadline will be effective Jan. 1, 2011, for calendar year 2011.

Washington University’s Alumni Association will commemorate the institution’s founding at the annual Founders Day celebration Saturday, Nov. 6, at the St. Louis Union Station Marriott. This is the second of a three-part series profiling the recipients of this year’s Founders Day awards. Carol B. Loeb, and the husband and wife couple Arthur and Marge McWilliams, are this year’s recipients of the Robert S. Brookings Award.
