Next round of Boeing patent challenge begins

The Skandalaris Center is continuing its partnership with Boeing’s Phantom Works Ventures. Students have an opportunity to commercialize Boeing patents in non-aerospace applications. Information sessions are scheduled today, Jan. 22 and 25.

Faculty, staff can offer input on recreation center pricing

The Office of Recreation Programs and Services will hold two focus groups next week of current and retired faculty and staff to discuss membership pricing in the Gary M. Sumers Recreation Center. Sessions will be from 5:15-6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, and from 12:15-1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, in the Athletics Complex.

Chancellor’s Concert auditions Jan. 19-25

The Washington University Choirs will host open auditions today through Monday, Jan. 25, for the 2016 Chancellor’s Concert. Presented by the Department of Music in Arts & Sciences, the Chancellor’s Concert is among the university’s largest annual events.

Bears basketball Staff/Faculty and Family Day will be Saturday, Jan. 9, against the University of Chicago. The No. 11-ranked women’s team tips off at 1 p.m. at the Field House, followed by the men’s game at 3 p.m. Admission is free.
