Sheryl Grossman, AB ’98, MSW ’00, who has Bloom’s Syndrome, a rare genetic condition characterized by short stature and a predisposition to multiple secondary conditions, founded Bloom’s Connect, the only international support group for people with Bloom’s Syndrome.

New master’s dual-degree in engineering and business announced
The Department of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering and the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis have announced a new dual-degree program that combines a master’s degree in engineering and a master’s of business administration. Students can earn an M.Eng and MBA degree in two-and-a-half years with a focus on energy, the environment and corporate sustainability.

74 of Thomas Jefferson’s books identified at Washington University library
The Thomas Jefferson Foundation and Washington University in St. Louis announced the discovery by Monticello scholars that a collection of books, long held in the libraries at WUSTL, originally were part of Thomas Jefferson’s personal library.
