Sports update April 30: Men’s track wins conference title
The men’s track & field team won its fourth-consecutive University Athletic Association (UAA) outdoor title, while the WUSTL women finished as the runner-up for the second year in a row on the final day of the 2012 UAA Outdoor Championships April 29.
Sports update April 23: Men’s tennis undefeated at home
The No. 17 men’s tennis team won its seventh straight match with an 8-1 victory over No. 30 DePauw University April 21 at the Tao Tennis Center. WUSTL is 9-0 this season at home has won 15 straight home matches dating back to last season. Updates also included on women’s tennis, women’s golf, track & field, softball and baseball.
Sports update April 16: Men’s tennis wins sixth straight match
The No. 17 men’s tennis team ran its winning streak to six matches with a 7-2 win at No. 30 University of Chicago April 15. The Bears improved their overall record to 12-5 and picked up their fifth win this season over a ranked team. Sports update April 2: Baseball wins 20th game
The baseball team recorded 24 hits, including 10 for extra bases, as the Bears earned their 20th win of the season — and 8th in a row — with a 25-13 victory over St. Norbert College April 1 at Kelly Field. Updates also included on softball, men’s tennis, track & field and women’s golf.
