University in St. Louis, will be held at 3 p.m. June 4 in Graham Chapel.

compete in the 2012 NCAA Division III baseball championship, and will
travel to Millington, Tenn., to compete in regional play

Welch, professor of radiology, 72
Michael J. Welch, PhD, a pioneering radiochemist who was
the author of more than 550 papers on the use of radioactive drugs in
diagnosis and treatment of disease, died Sunday, May 6, 2012. He was 72.

The softball team closed out regular season play with a pair of one-run victories over Lindenwood University-Belleville May 5. The team concluded regular-season play with a 28-12 overall record. Updates also included on baseball, track & field and women’s golf.
Arts & Sciences unveils new undergraduate curriculum, planner
The College of Arts & Sciences will introduce a newly revised curriculum, called Integrated InQuiry (IQ), for undergraduate students at Washington University in St. Louis. Developed over a four-year process with input from students, faculty and administrators, the IQ will be available to new undergraduates arriving this fall.
