University librarian search committee formed

A search committee to identify candidates for the position of university librarian at Washington University in St. Louis has been formed by Provost Holden Thorp. The position was formerly held by Jeffrey G. Trzeciak, who left the university in July.

Hong Liu, professor of finance and director of the master’s in finance program at Washington University’s Olin Business School, has been installed as the Fossett Distinguished Professor. Liu, whose research focuses on asset pricing and market microstructures, has served as a member of the Olin faculty since 1998.

The second annual Changing Systems Student Summit was sponsored by the Brown School’s Ferguson Seed Fund and Social System Design Lab and the Institute for Public Health at Washington University in St. Louis.
