When Chancellor Andrew Martin told Anna Gonzalez, the newly named vice chancellor for student affairs and self-proclaimed foodie, that St. Louis boasted a world-class food scene, Gonzalez had her doubts. Two years later, she is happy to say the chancellor was right. Together they have launched the food blog, “Good Eats with Chancellor Martin & Dr. G,” which will showcase great local restaurants.

NameCoach, a tool that allows you to record and share the pronunciation of your name with others, is now available to Washington University in St. Louis faculty, staff and students.

David Valentine-Elam has been named the inaugural chief privacy officer at Washington University, announced Monica Allen, vice chancellor and general counsel. In his role, Valentine-Elam works to ensure that the information of students, faculty, staff and research participants is protected.
