Jerome R. Cox Jr., a senior professor emeritus in computer science and engineering at the McKelvey School of Engineering, died Jan. 17, 2023, in St. Louis. He was 97.

Jennifer Anne Miller, who worked at Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and the School of Medicine, died Jan. 17 during a surgery in Bethesda, Md., to treat a rare advanced cancer. She was 33. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 27, in Belleville, Ill.

Paul J. Donnelly, the Rebecca and John Voyles Chair in Architecture Emeritus at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, died Jan. 17 in Boston. He was 78.

Lucian Krukowski, a painter and professor emeritus of philosophy in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, died Jan. 12, 2023, at his home in St. Louis. He was 93.

William Quinn, a celebrated painter and professor emeritus who taught at Washington University in St. Louis for more than three decades, died Dec. 30, 2022, at Bridgeport Hospital, near his home in Milford, Conn. He was 93.

Emil Raphael Unanue, MD, an internationally renowned immunologist at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, died Dec. 16, 2022, surrounded by family in St. Louis after a two-year battle with glioblastoma. He was 88.

Radhakrishnan Gopalan, a longtime, beloved professor of finance at Olin Business School, died Dec. 6, 2022, of cancer. He was 50.

Donald Snyder, a senior professor of electrical and systems engineering at the McKelvey School of Engineering, died Nov. 21 of complications of gastrointestinal cancer. He was 87. A memorial service is planned for April.

Penelope Parkman Biggs, a graduate and longtime benefactor of the Department of Classics in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, died under hospice care Nov. 3 after a long illness. She was 85.

Barbara Liebmann, who served in numerous staff positions during a long career at Washington University in St. Louis, died Nov. 8, 2022, of pancreatic cancer. She was 66.
