As the university’s strategic planning process continues, those building recommendations want to hear from more of the university community. Three virtual town halls will take place next week.

Washington University was ranked the top employer in Missouri on Forbes 2021 list of “America’s Best Employers.”
Emergency communication system to be tested Sept. 15
Washington University will test its emergency communication system at 9:55 a.m. Sept. 15. The tests ensure that the university can effectively communicate with the community in an emergency. The test will take place unless there is the potential for severe weather or an emergency is occurring at that time.

Carter receives ‘leaders who care’ award
Dedric Carter, vice chancellor for operations and technology transfer at Washington University, received the Campus Leaders Who Care Award from the Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association.
Dining Services receives Horton Dining Award
Washington University Dining Services received a gold 2020 Loyal E. Horton Dining Award from the National Association of College & University Food Services.
