Mark V. Williams, MD, a respected leader in hospital medicine, performance improvement and health-care delivery, has been named director of the Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. His appointment takes effect Oct. 1.
Tolman named vice dean in Arts & Sciences
William B. Tolman has been appointed vice dean of research and entrepreneurship in Arts & Sciences, Dean Feng Sheng Hu announced. Tolman is the William Greenleaf Eliot Professor of Chemistry.
Armstrong named dean of University College
Asquith S. “Sean” Armstrong, executive director for continuing education at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, has been named dean of University College at Washington University in St. Louis, effective Nov. 1.
