Lost in Words

Short Stories

Lost in Words is Ann Calandro’s debut collection of short fiction with stories that glide from “brief dreamlike appreciations of friendships to longer narratives about families,” writes author Carol Sklenicka. “Her sentences are perfection, whether describing fries “crisp on the outside and meltingly soft within” or a survey designed to tell us where we can live in a divided continent.”
