Newman Education Center.At the First Annual Length of University Service Award programs June 4, employees were recognized for 10 years of service through the 53 years of service by Marge Boyd, who retired from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in December.

Ethiopian medical students to benefit from used textbooks

The textbooks will replace outdated books at the medical school at Ethiopia’s Addis Ababa University, the main teaching hospital in the country’s capital city. Rahel Nardos, a native of Ethiopia and a fourth-year resident, came up with the idea after spending a week working in Addis Ababa University’s hospital last year.
