Emergency communication system to be tested March 6
Washington University in St. Louis will test its emergency communication system, WashUAlerts, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 6. The test will take place unless there is the potential for severe weather that day or an emergency is occurring at that time.
Panagos named chair-elect of stroke council

Search committee named for Teaching Center executive director
Provost Holden Thorp has formed a search committee to appoint an executive director for Washington University in St. Louis’ Teaching Center. Marion Crain, vice provost and the Wiley B. Rutledge Professor of Law, will serve as chair.
Burnham recognized by two medical societies

The U.S. and university flags over Brookings Hall are lowered to half-staff until sunset Monday, Feb. 19, as a mark of respect for those killed in the shooting Feb. 14 at a high school in Parkland, Fla.
