Dance Marathon returns with Beyonce, rave hours
Dance Marathon will take place Saturday, Nov. 12. The annual 12-hour dance party raises money for local children’s hospitals and features food, music, student performances and themed dance hours. Organizers also will remember Maggie Ryan, the 2015 executive director, who died in a car accident in May, two days after graduation.

Students ready to vote
Thousands of Washington University in St. Louis students are expected to vote Tuesday. To make the experience easy, and memorable, the university has established one central polling location for all students who live on campus and it will host events and an evening watch party at the Danforth University Center.
Veteran in Brown School helps other vets help themselves
Veteran and Brown School student James Petersen is organizing the biggest Veterans Day event in recent university history featuring panel of combat veterans and an address by U.S. Sen. Claire. McCaskill. After serving in Iraq’s infamous Abu Ghraib prison, Petersen suffered from PTSD. The therapy he received inspired him to earn his master in social work so he can help other veterans.
