Kelly named director of cardiovascular division

KellyDaniel Kelly has been named director of the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the School of Medicine. Kelly is the Alumni Endowed Professor of Cardiovascular Diseases and professor of medicine, of pediatrics and of molecular biology and pharmacology and a cardiologist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

The unveiling of the publication will be in November at the Ritz-Carlton. … Jeffrey S. Crippin, M.D., professor of medicine and medical director of liver transplantation, was named the president of the American Society of Transplantation for 2006-07. … Hilary P. Glazer, first-year medical student, was recently named a scholar in the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Program. Glazer was one of 77 recipients of the scholarship, which covers tuition, room, board, fees and books up to $50,000 a year for up to six years. She earned an undergraduate degree from Tufts University in May.
