Carter appointed to innovation and entrepreneurship leadership post
Dedric Carter, PhD, has been appointed to the newly created position of associate provost and associate vice chancellor for innovation and entrepreneurship at Washington University in St. Louis. He has been associate dean for international education and research and professor of the practice in the School of Engineering & Applied Science. The appointment is effective June 1, according to Holden Thorp, PhD, university provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs; and Henry S. Webber, executive vice chancellor for administration.
Washington University hires Title IX coordinator
To promote and strengthen a culture that proactively supports a safe and respectful learning, working and living environment, Washington University in St. Louis has appointed Jessica W. Kennedy, JD, to the newly created role of Title IX coordinator, according to Lorraine Goffe-Rush, vice chancellor for human resources, and Sharon Stahl, vice chancellor for students. The appointment took effect March 17.
Cotton named assistant vice chancellor for human resources
Apryle M. Cotton has been named the new assistant vice chancellor for human resources at Washington University in St. Louis, announced Lorraine A. Goffe-Rush, vice chancellor for human resources.Cotton, whose appointment took effect March 3, succeeds Goffe-Rush, who was promoted Dec. 31 to vice chancellor.
