WUSTL recycles its way to top 10 percent contest finish
Washington University recycled 428,663 pounds of waste this spring to rank No. 28 out of 293 schools — among the top 10 percent — in the annual RecycleMania contest’s Gorilla category, which is based on total recycled materials collected.

Obituary: Edwards, trustee emeritus, 77
Benjamin F. Edwards III, trustee emeritus and former chairman, chief executive officer and president of A.G. Edwards Inc., died April 20, 2009, at his home in Naples, Fla., of prostate cancer. He was 77.

Danforth Campus Parking changes for 2009-10
Faculty, staff and students who park vehicles on campus must renew their permits for the upcoming 2009-10 academic year at parking.wustl.edu or at the Parking and Transportation Services office at North Campus.
University swine flu response
Following the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and after consultation with senior University officials, the University has cancelled an undergraduate study-abroad program, which was scheduled to begin May 27 in Puebla, Mexico.
Women’s Society presents leadership award, scholarship
