A new Olin Business School study suggests maybe there is no one best negotiator; maybe the person you should send into a negotiation depends on whom you’re up against.

Applications are now open for the 2018 Global Impact Award (GIA), Washington University in St. Louis’ business plan competition for ventures that are scalable, sustainable and quick-to-market with proof of concept and a broad impact. The deadline is noon March 19.

The solar development industry in Missouri is likely to take a particularly hard hit as a result of a recently announced import tariff on solar cells and panels, according to Phil Valko, assistant vice chancellor for sustainability at Washington University in St. Louis.
