Jason Jabbari, of the university’s Social Policy Institute, received a $325,373 grant from the Smith Richardson Foundation to examine social mobility and equity in certificate and apprenticeship programs.

Kun Wang, in Arts & Sciences, was selected for NASA’s OSIRIS-REx Sample Analysis Participating Scientist Program. NASA’s OSIRIS-REx mission will bring material from a near-Earth asteroid, Bennu, back to Earth in 2023.

Jennifer Wang, an assistant professor of biology in Arts & Sciences, won a $1.2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for microtubule formation research.

Carlos Cruchaga, at the School of Medicine, has received a 2022 Zenith Fellow Award from the Alzheimer’s Association. The annual award is given to scientists who have made significant contributions to Alzheimer’s disease research and are likely to continue to do so.
