Anjan Thakor, the John E. Simon Professor of Finance at Olin Business School, received an honorary doctorate Oct. 25 from the University of Gothenburg’s School of Business, Economics and Law in Sweden.
Guoyan Zhao, PhD (left), and Erik Musiek, MD, PhD, both at WashU Medicine, have received a $433,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study brain cells called astrocytes and their roles in diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
Recycle election yard signs on campus
