Workday Student deployment year begins
WashU has begun deploying Workday Student, which will replace a variety of student information systems, including WebSTAC, WebFAC, WebAdvising and WUCRSL/Course listings, starting in February. There are many ways that students and employees can prepare.

Crickette Sanz, a professor of anthropology in Arts & Sciences, was installed as the James W. and Jean L. Davis Professor in Arts and Sciences Sept. 4. Her installation address was titled “Learning From Great Apes About Rank.”
For the second straight year, WashU has won the Citizens for Modern Transit College Transit Challenge. The annual competition encourages students, staff and faculty from local colleges to log their rides on MetroLink and Metro buses for bragging rights and the College Transit Trophy.
The Harvey A. Friedman Center for Aging has received an 18-month $136,000 grant from the RRF Foundation for Aging to study how older adults understand and experience ageism.
Flu shots available for employees
Occupational Health Services is holding free on-site flu vaccine clinics for WashU employees on both the Danforth and Medical campuses. Flu shots will take place on the Danforth Campus Oct. 7-11.
