Peter A. Humphrey, M.D., Ph.D., the Ladenson Professor of Pathology and Immunology, professor of surgery and chief, Division of Anatomic and Molecular Pathology, has received a five-year, $85,472 subaward from the Roswell Park Cancer Institute for research titled “Diet Change Among Prostate Cancer Patients Under Expectant Management.”

Terrie Inder, M.D., associate professor of pediatrics, of neurology and of radiology and co-director of the Washington University Neonatal Development Research team, was the commencement speaker at the University of Otago in New Zealand Dec. 12, 2009. She spoke to 520 graduates in biomedical sciences, dentistry, health sciences, medicine, medical laboratory science and physiotherapy.
