Two Washington University researchers, Elaine Mardis and Ann Gronowski, have been recognized by the American Association for Clinical Chemistry for exceptional research and service in the field of laboratory medicine.
Mardis, co-director of The McDonnell Genome Institute, received the 2016 Morton K. Schwartz Award for Significant Contributions in Cancer Research Diagnostics. Gronowski, a professor of pathology and immunology, received the Outstanding Contributions in Education Award.
