WashU Medicine researcher Benjamin Garcia will receive an $18.5 million five-year grant renewal from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study how long-lived mammals stay healthy into old age.

‘How the motorcar helped fuel feminism’

Eileen G’Sell, a senior lecturer for the College Writing Program in Arts & Sciences, discusses a new exhibition, “Roaring: Art, Fashion and the Automobile in France, 1918-1939.” The exhibition, on display through July 27 at the St. Louis Art Museum, demonstrates how the motorcar drove fashion and feminism in interwar France.
