Breast cancer drug in clinical trials could also treat blood cancers
Two studies led by researchers at WashU Medicine have identified a possible way to block the progression of several forms of blood cancer using a drug already in clinical trials for breast cancer.

Carmon Colangelo, the Ralph J. Nagel Dean of the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, will conclude his deanship effective June 30, 2026.
Darden named a Gates Cambridge Scholar
WashU senior Elijah Darden, in Arts & Sciences, has been selected for the prestigious Gates Cambridge Scholarship, which funds postgraduate study at the University of Cambridge. He plans to earn a master’s in population health sciences.
