After a year of hard work designing and building a race car, the WashU Racing team had a strong showing at the Formula SAE 2015 Collegiate Design Series last month. The team participated in seven individual competitions, with events ranging from testing the car’s design and how it drives to its marketability and cost efficiency.

The Brown School has launched the Evaluation Center to provide client-driven evaluation services and training for nonprofit organizations, funders, universities and government agencies. Nancy B. Mueller is the center’s director.

Since the beginning of the university’s efficiency efforts, Resource Management has negotiated contracts that achieve $12.7 million in savings. This efficiency success allows the university to invest more resources in the overall mission of teaching, research and patient care.
