Study shows one in five women with ovarian cancer has inherited predisposition

A new study conservatively estimates that one in five women with ovarian cancer has inherited genetic mutations that increase the risk of the disease, according to research by the School of Medicine’s Li Ding, PhD, and her colleagues.

Expert in hazing psychology kicks off Hazing Prevention Week

WUSTL’s Hazing Prevention Week begins Monday. As part of that, Tim Marchell, PhD, of Cornell University, will speak with employees and students about the psychology of hazing. Recent survey results show about 16 percent of WUSTL undergraduates have witnessed hazing.
