WUSTL bucks global trend in female entrepreneurship

A recent report from the Global Entrepreneur- ship Monitor indicates there are significantly fewer female than male entrepreneurs world- wide. But this isn’t the case among recent WUSTL graduates. Women have founded more than 40 percent of successful companies started through WUSTL’s business entrepreneurship courses. Pictured is alumna Sarah Haselkorn, founder of Green Bean restaurant.

Freezing sperm taken directly from testicles is effective option for infertile couples

Frozen sperm taken by biopsy from testicles in men with no sperm in their semen is as effective as fresh sperm taken by biopsy in helping couples conceive through in vitro fertilization, according to a School of Medicine study.
