An undergraduate student at WUSTL helped create and launch a mobile app that allows students to track the campus circulator shuttle. It’s called the “WUSTL Circulator,” and on its first day, it had up to four times as many downloads as typical new university apps.

??Six WUSTL staff members will be traveling to Santiago, Chile, June 10-14 as part of the second annual Global Diversity and Overseas Seminars Program. This year’s program will focus on social justice and racial, ethnic and economic disparities in Santiago.

In the years between the world wars, the human figure remained the site of significant artistic activity. Face and Figure in European Art, 1928-1945, is now on view at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum. It includes dozens of works by several artists in a variety of media.

Michael Lane, MD, has been named patient safety officer for the Department of Medicine. The position is new for the department, and in the role, Lane will oversee and coordinate safety efforts to help improve health-care outcomes.
