Camden & Lilly, the new play by Carter Lewis, playwright-in-residence in the Performing Arts Department in Arts & Sciences, gets its world premiere this weekend, March 29 through April 1, in the A.E. Hotchner Studio Theatre in Mallinckrodt Center. Camden & Lilly is a departure for Lewis, “more lyrical, more fantasy-oriented,” he says.

The Gephardt Institute for Public Service invites students, faculty and staff to apply for the Civic Engagement Fund (CEF), which awards grants to support service trips, civic initiatives or community service projects. CEF grants, available to individuals and groups, provide up to $500 for projects in the St. Louis area, across the country and around the world. Deadlines for the upcoming funding rounds are April 13 and July 20.

The final blood drive for the academic year will take place Wednesday, April 4, at a variety of locations and times on both the Danforth and Medical campuses. All students, staff and faculty are encouraged to participate. Each WUSTL blood drive collects approximately 400 units of blood, which save 1,200 lives.

This past Saturday, the baseball team rallied from an 8-0 deficit to defeat Wheaton (Ill.) College 10-9 in 12 innings, before earning a 7-2 win over the University of Wisconsin-Platteville at Kelly Field. Senior Brandon Rogalski had a huge weekend with 7 hits, moving into third on the all-time WUSTL career hits list with 183. The Bears have won five straight and will host a three-game home series against St. Norbert College March 31-April 1.
