It also is the inspiration for Mad’moiselle, a richly theatrical and frequently tongue-in-cheek examination of Marias. This weekend, Ballet Hispanico, a pre-eminent Latino dance organization, will present Mad’moiselle and other recent works at Edison Theatre.

Vu Nguyen joined the Department of Music in Arts & Sciences last fall as director of winds. He will conduct the WUSTL Wind Ensemble in a free concert at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, Feb. 28, at the 560 Music Center.
