Motivational speaker and former collegiate player Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger made a surprise visit at WUSTL football practice Sept. 27. The Rudy Dream Big Bus Tour has made stops at key locations across the nation’s midsection, spreading Ruettiger’s encouraging message of tenacity. Rudy is a 1993 film that depicts Ruettiger’s dream of playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish despite major obstacles.
