Eat Local Challenge meals offered Sept. 27

Danforth Campus eateries will offer meals made entirely of local food — with the exception of salt — Tuesday, Sept. 27, as part of WUSTL Dining Services’ Eat Local Challenge. Ingredients for Eat Local Challenge meals will come from farmers and artisans within 150 miles of WUSTL.

The Global Health Scholars Internal Medicine Program brought the world to the Ellen S. Clark Hope Plaza as part of its inaugural Global Health Scholars Week (Sept. 18-24). The marketplace featured international food, crafts and entertainment.

First Civic Scholars selected by Gephardt Institute

The Gephardt Institute for Public Service has selected seven juniors for the inaugural cohort of the Civic Scholars Program. Civic Scholars will enroll in two years of academic course work related to civic leadership and receive mentorship to prepare them for a life dedicated to public service.

Men’s soccer undefeated

The fourth-ranked men’s soccer team won its seventh game in a row with a 3-0 victory over Westminster College Sept. 21. Three different players scored in the win for Washington University, which outshot Westminster 26-3.
