Kids with savings accounts more likely to attend college

Evidence supporting the link between savings and college success is growing. Studies out of the Center for Social Development at the Brown School have found that among youth who expected to graduate from a four-year college, those with a savings account in their name were six times more likely to attend college than those with no account. Picture this: Winning the Green Cup

Members of the Sigma Chi fraternity accept a $500 prize for winning the Greek division of the Green Cup. The Green Cup competition lasted from March 28-April 22 and allowed residential colleges and fraternities to earn points for each percentage-point drop in per-person energy use over the competition.
