New York Times best-selling historian Douglas Brinkley and New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast will present keynote addresses for “Celebrating Our Books, Recognizing Our Authors,” WUSTL’s 10th annual faculty book colloquium Dec. 5 and 6. The event is organized by the Center for the Humanities in Arts & Sciences and Washington University Libraries.

The men’s basketball team posted a 1-1 record at the Rhodes College Thanksgiving Classic this past weekend, losing to Ohio Wesleyan University 70-67, but bouncing back with a 83-56 win over Principia College. WUSTL (3-2) hosts the 28th Annual Lopata Classic Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2 and 3, at the WU Field House, featuring No. 2 Augustana College, Wisconsin Lutheran College and Whittier College.
