Chancellor’s Concert marks a final farewell

Between them, Dan Presgrave (right), conductor of the Washington University Symphony Orchestra, and John Stewart, director of the Washington University Concert Choir, have taught in the Department of Music in Arts & Sciences for a combined 60 years. On Sunday, April 17, the pair — both of whom are retiring at the end of the semester — will join forces one last time for the 2011 Chancellor’s Concert. FULL STORY

  • Davis sets NCAA qualifying mark in track. Junior Dan Davis set an automatic qualifying mark in the 110-meter hurdles at the Washington University Select Meet April 9. Davis’ impressive time of 14.34 was not only a 2011 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship automatic qualifier, but also it was just one one-hundredth of a second shy of tying the WUSTL school record.
