WashU Dance Collective presents ‘Alchemy’The resident dance company of the Performing Arts Department in Arts & Sciences will present “Alchemy,” an evening of new and original choreography, Friday and Saturday, April 10 and 11, in Edison Theatre. Led by founding artistic director Cecil Slaughter, “Alchemy” will feature 25 performers in nine works by faculty, student and guest choreographers. |

Exhibits and ongoing events 'Looking Back Toward the Future' exhibitOn view for the first time at the Kemper Art Museum, this exhibit presents more than 40 large-scale photographs created by 14 artists in China between 1993 and 2006. These works constitute a significant recent addition to the Kemper’s holdings of contemporary Chinese art. The exhibit, which is on view until July 27, includes a free public tour at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 12. |
