Who Knew WashU?

Question: As the Summer Olympics are set to begin in Paris, we ask: Which of these took place for the first time during the 1904 Olympics held on WashU’s campus?

Answer: A) The tradition of awarding of gold, silver and bronze medals began in 1904. WashU also boasted the first gymnasium and stadium built for the Olympic Games.
