PAD presents Shakespeare’s ‘The Winter’s Tale,’ opening Friday

The Performing Arts Department in Arts & Sciences presents William Shakespeare’s “The Winter’s Tale.” Often considered one of his “problem plays,” the work grapples with complex moral dilemmas. Performances will take place in Edison Theatre Friday, Feb. 23, to March 3.

Kahlil Robert Irving’s ‘Archaeology of the Present’ opens Friday

Friday, Feb. 23

WashU alumnus Kahlil Robert Irving will present “Archaeology of the Present,” a 2,000-square-foot installation exploring our relationship to the city street. Irving will take part in a Q&A to celebrate the exhibit opening at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23. The exhibit will remain on display through July 29 at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum.

Exhibits and ongoing events

Exhibit to showcase influence of the ‘Divine Nine’

Take in a Black History Month exhibit celebrating members of the “Divine Nine,” the group of historically Black Greek-letter organizations. The exhibit, which highlights those who made an impact in the Civil Rights Movement, will be on display 2-6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in Umrath Hall Lounge.
