PAD’s ‘God of Carnage’ opens tonight

The Performing Arts Department will present “God of Carnage,” Yazmina Reza’s scathing satire of bourgeois manners, righteous fury and parental ego, in the A.E. Hotchner Studio Theatre this weekend, Nov. 16-19.

Mark Rank, of the Brown School, will give a virtual talk based on ideas in his latest book, “The Poverty Paradox.” Rank also will provide ideas and strategies for addressing poverty.

‘Kemper Unplugged’ concert

Noon Friday, Nov. 17

Enjoy an intimate performance from faculty and students in the Department of Music in Arts & Sciences. The 45-minute concert will include chamber music and acoustic solo performances surrounded by art in the permanent collection and special exhibition galleries. Kemper Art Museum.
