Paxlovid reduces risk of long-term COVID-19 problems

People infected with COVID-19 who then took the antiviral medication Paxlovid within five days had a reduced risk of long-term health problems, hospitalization and death, according to a study at the School of Medicine and the Veterans Affairs St. Louis Health Care system.
