Forum on medicine, race in St. Louis set for Feb. 25

The Medical Humanities Program in Arts & Sciences will present the “Forum on Medicine, Race and Ethnicity in St. Louis, Past to Future” Feb. 25 in the Clark-Fox Forum at HiIlman Hall. The all-day gathering will feature dozens of speakers and panelists exploring how specific local histories impact the region’s diverse communities.

‘Legacies of (De)segregated Medicine’ exhibit opening

The Bernard Becker Medical Library, in collaboration with the Center for the History of Medicine, presents the latest exhibit, “In Their Own Words: Stories of Desegregation at Washington University Medical Center.” The exhibit opening will follow the 84th Historia Medica Lecture, “When Disparities Remain,” by Ezelle Sanford III, of Carnegie Mellon University, at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in Connor Auditorium. The exhibit will be on display through June.
