Philip Dybvig, 2022 Nobel Prize in Economics recipient

Nobel Prize awarded to economist Dybvig

Philip H. Dybvig, a banking and finance expert at Olin Business School, is one of three economists to share the 2022 Nobel Prize in economic sciences, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced today. Dyvbig is being recognized for seminal economic work that explained why banks are subject to runs during a crisis.
