Sam Fox School announces spring Public Lecture Series

Barcelona collaborative H ARQUITECTES will launch the Sam Fox School’s spring Public Lecture Series online at noon today. In all, the series will feature 18 talks by nationally and internationally renowned figures, from architects Tatiana Bilbao and Thomas Phifer to artists Maya Muchawsky Parnas and Chitra Ganesh.

As part of Black History Month, a virtual panel of health leaders in the St. Louis region will discuss the pandemic’s effect on racial inequity in health care and how residents can respond. Rodrigo Reis, at the Brown School, will moderate.

Lunar New Year festival

The Lunar New Year Festival is a student-run production in celebration of the Lunar New Year. This year’s festival begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, in Edison Theatre. The performances will showcase acting, dancing and martial arts and acknowledge social issues affecting Asian communities.
